Bellfield Infant School & Nursery is a friendly, inclusive two form entry school with hardworking and committed staff and pupils who are highly motivated and engaged.

We are looking to fulfil two positions: an EYFS teacher and a Class Teacher (either KS1 or EYFS), beginning September 2024. Both positions are fixed term for 1 year in the first instance.

We are requiring practitioners who are committed and demonstrates our school ethos to join our team.

We are looking for:

  • An experienced, reflective practitioner with strong, up to date pedagogical knowledge of the Early Years Framework /National Curriculum, and support with the transition to KS1.
  • A committed team player with excellent organisational and motivational skills.
  • Someone who has high expectations of themselves, others and maintains a focus on all children making good progress from their start points.
  • A teacher who fosters and nurtures positive relationships with all pupils and is committed to inclusive practice for all.
  • Someone who will take a leading role in building effective partnerships with parents and colleagues.
  • Assess, record and report on the development, progress and attainment of pupils.

 

You will have:

  • A degree level qualification and QTS
  • The ability to inspire colleagues to achieve individual and whole school targets.
  • Experience of sustained delivery of outstanding attainment and achievement.
  • Strong subject knowledge across EYFS and KS1.
  • Experience of leading a subject area.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work collaboratively with staff and parents.

The successful candidate will have to meet the person specification and will be required to apply for a DBS disclosure.
